I always loved performing, but my pursuit for theater greatly awakened going into middle school. Growing up in New York City my whole life, I was always surrounded by art so going to a performing arts school was the only option to me (duh). I found a true love for dance during these years, majoring in it at school, while also taking various classes at Mark Morris and Spoke of the Hub in Brooklyn. During these years is also when I discovered my love for performing in musicals. Being able to find a place to plug this dance training in with all the energy and passion I had was truly eye opening.

From there, I followed my heart and continued theater into high school. Triple majoring in Acting, Vocal, and Musical Theater at Brooklyn High School of the Arts, allowed me to blossom as not just a performer but as a person as well. After getting the opportunity to perform a bit of Urinetown on Broadway at the 2024 Schubert Festival proved to me this was something worth continuing into a professional setting.

Getting into my dream school, New York University for drama at Tisch School of the Arts, was a game changer for me. Studying here has complexity altered the way I perceive theater and I’m so grateful for that. After graduating in 2028, I can’t wait to see what’s out there for me to achieve and explore!
